Together in the Journey
Together in the Journey
We continue to explore how we can live our lives with greater ease, grace and intention - and a lot of joy. Every day brings new opportunities to walk our talk, to learn, grow and practice the insights. We do our best to stay open, curious, and committed to this journey and we feel inspired to share what we're learning with others. In these challenging times, we feel a sense of responsibility and compassion to support those around us in finding greater meaning, resilience, and connection .
Babbie has spent a lifetime immersed in teaching, caregiving, and the ongoing adventure of personal growth. With warmth, wisdom, and a great sense of curiosity, she brings decades of experience to her work now with Dee Harris happily co-presenting "New Vision" workshops.
Together with her husband John, Babbie co-founded the first hospice organization in Panama, where they now live, and continues to support others through service and compassion. They also co-created more than 50 couples' workshops, helping partners deepen connection, understanding, and joy.
Babbie’s path has been shaped by some of the leading voices in conscious living. She’s walked on fire with Tony Robbins, explored inner transformation at Kripalu’s Inner Quest Intensive, and studied lasting change with Dr. Joe Dispenza. A certified Conscious Aging facilitator through the Institute of Noetic Sciences and a graduate of the Omega Institute’s program in Strategies for Conscious Living, Babbie is passionate about embracing each phase of life with grace, awareness, and purpose.
Born in Los Angeles, California, Dee has remained a "city" girl...... Featured here in Bratislava, thirsting to turn water into wine, her love of travel (and wine) has taken her to many of the world's great cities. Dee began as an undergraduate intern for Los Angeles City Councilman Gilbert W. Lindsay and advanced to Administrative Assistant while earning her Master's Degree in Communications from CUSF. She went on to teach at the University of San Francisco while working at radio station KYA. Multi tasking seems to be her thing, although her heart has always been in education.
Dee sought her elementary school teaching credential and taught in East Oakland for many years. She has over 30 years of experience in planning, presenting, and facilitating professional development workshops. Eventually, Dee became a "teacher of teachers", before retiring to Panama where she and her husband, Richard, own a small coffee farm and tour business. It was in Panama that she met Babbie and John Earle, whose experiences in self-exploration, inspired her to team up with Babbie in creating and co-presenting the transformative courses found on this site.
